This is one of those movies that I own. It’s funny, sweet, charming, and has a great ending. Grace’s husband commits suicide, leaving her alone and shockingly horribly in debt, so she does what any normal middle aged house wife would do, she grows pot. Craig Ferguson plays her partner in crime, and as always the small village she lives in is filled with fun quirky characters.
Alica McKenna Johnson writes about snarky girls, kind boys, and the adults trying to keep them alive. After day dreaming for the first thirty years of life, Alica finally began writing her stories down, much to the delight of her readers. As Alica sits in her armchair at home dreaming of traveling the world, her diverse characters explore for her listening to music, seeing the sights, and eating exotic foods.

I have this saved on Netflix but have not watched it. This will be fun to watch this weekend. Thanks for taking the time to post this!
I hope you enjoyed it!
It is- nothing like quirky British village characters
Oh, this would be a good one for this long weekend. Thanks, Alica!! It looks funny.
I hope you enjoy it- I laugh every time I watch it.
I love this film! The first time I watched it, I about peed myself laughing. I’ll never forget the scene with the lawn chairs and sunglasses, watching the lights come on….awesome. Strangely believable too.
